Our office is located at Flat No. C-1, Plot No. 1 in Hyderabad. Even though the name Excel Constructions, Uganda, East Africa mentions another place, we do a lot of the heavy lifting from right here in Andhra Pradesh. The 500011 area is where we coordinate everything. It’s a bit of a strange situation, having a name like that but being based in a flat in Hyderabad, but it works for us. We handle a lot of logistics and planning. The office is usually full of files and international calling cards. We aren't a massive corporation with a lobby and a receptionist. It’s just a few of us sitting around desks, making sure the numbers add up and the plans are right. We talk to people across the ocean quite a bit. It’s noisy sometimes with all the phones ringing. We don't have a fancy mission statement on the wall. We just focus on getting the construction details sorted out. Hyderabad is a busy city, and working from a flat keeps things grounded. We drink a lot of coffee and try to keep up with the time zones. It's not the most glamorous way to work, but it’s honest. People come to see us at Plot No. 1 when they need to discuss overseas projects. We just sit down, open the folders, and get to it without any big speeches or corporate talk.
