English Hosiery

We've been here at 5801/6 in Chawla Market for quite a while now. Sadar Bazar is always crowded, as anyone who comes here knows. It's noisy and dusty, but it’s where we do our thing. Most days start early, unpacking boxes of hosiery and getting stuff organized on the shelves. It’s not a fancy place. We mostly just focus on keeping things moving and making sure the inventory is right. Sometimes the electricity goes out or the narrow lanes get blocked by a rickshaw, and you just have to wait it out. That's just how life is in this part of town. People come in looking for specific items, and we try to find what they need in the stacks. It gets pretty cramped inside with all the stock piled up high. We don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure the orders go out and the shop stays running. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but we are used to the rhythm of the market by now. We handle a lot of different types of hosiery, from basics to whatever else people are asking for lately. It’s a straightforward business. No big speeches or fancy displays here, just a lot of boxes and a lot of familiar faces coming through the door. We've seen the market change over the years, but our spot in Chawla Market stays pretty much the same. We just show up and do the work.
