My office is located in Baghlingampally at Manasa Enclave. It’s in Block No. 22, specifically Flat No. 4. It’s a residential building that I’ve converted into a working space for my practice as an advocate. Because it’s a flat, it feels a bit more comfortable than a cold office building. There are shelves everywhere filled with law books and old case files. Sometimes it feels like the paper is taking over the room, but I know where everything is. The neighborhood is fairly lively, with people going about their business and the usual Hyderabad street sounds coming through the windows. Clients come by and we sit in the main room to talk things over. It’s not a formal boardroom, just a table and some chairs. I’ve been working from here for a long time, so many people in the area know the address. My assistant handles the typing and the filing, and we usually have some tea around mid-morning to keep us going. The lift in the building can be a bit moody, so I often just take the stairs up to the flat. It’s a quiet place for the most part, which is good when I need to read through a long brief or prepare for a court date. I don't go for anything fancy; I just need a desk and a bit of peace to get my work done for the people who come to see me.
