Electra Automation

Electra Automation is tucked away on the first floor of Kanhaiya Lal Estate, right on Distillery Road. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty busy with all the movement on the street. Our space is spread across units 5-4-42 to 50. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the parts and equipment we keep around. We spend a lot of time looking at circuits and machinery. It’s not the cleanest work in the world; your hands might get a bit dusty or greasy by the end of the shift. That’s just the nature of automation work. We aren't the type to sit in meetings all day talking about "synergy" or whatever. We’d rather be on the floor seeing if a component fits or why a motor isn't turning. The staff here is a mix of older guys who have seen it all and a few younger ones learning the ropes. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going, especially when we have a big project that needs finishing. The estate itself is an older place, and we’ve made our corner of it home. It’s functional. We have our tools, our benches, and our records. It’s a simple setup but it works for us. We don't put on a show for anyone; what you see is exactly what you get when you walk through our door on the first floor.
