You can find us at B-51 in the Electronic Complex over in Kushaiguda. We’re pretty close to the Paluri Cinema Theatre, which is a good landmark for people trying to find the place for the first time. This area is mostly industrial, so there’s a lot of noise from other factories and trucks moving around. At Precision Electronic Components Manufacturing Company, we spend our days dealing with small parts and machinery. It’s dusty work and the floor is usually covered in bits of wire or metal shavings by the end of the shift. We aren’t a high-tech lab with white coats; it’s a real workshop. The machines have their own rhythm, and you get used to the constant humming. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the day fixing it, which puts us behind. The break room is small and the tea is usually too strong, but it gets us through the afternoon. We’ve been making these components for a long time now. Most of the guys here have been on the floor for years and can do the work with their eyes closed. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back with grease on our hands. It’s honest work and we just try to keep the production line moving. It’s not always easy, but we get the job done right.
