Our branch is located right in the middle of the bustle at Comsary Bazar in New Bowenpally. If you know Secunderabad, you know this area stays busy. The address is 1-1-1A and it's a small space but we make it work. Dtdc Courier & Cargo Ltd handles a lot of different packages every single day. We spend most of our time scanning barcodes and weighing boxes. There is always a pile of envelopes waiting to be sorted. The noise from the bazaar outside is constant, with people shouting and horns honking all the time. It’s not a quiet office job by any means. We have to be quick because people are usually in a hurry when they drop off their mail. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait a bit to process the shipping labels, which is frustrating but we manage. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the cargo gets where it needs to go. We have a couple of motorbikes parked outside for the local runs. The walls of the shop are covered in old posters and charts. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood here in Bowenpally. We see the same faces every week, mostly local business owners sending out their orders. It’s a steady pace of work that keeps us busy from the moment we open the shutters.
