Dr. Samatha Eye Care Hospital

Barkatpura is a hectic part of town, and our hospital is right in the middle of it near the Narayanaguda flyover. If you look for Aruna Photo Studio, we’re just right beside it. People often stop by the studio first then realize they need to get their eyes checked. Dr. Samatha started this eye care hospital here because it's a central spot for people to get to. The flyover makes a bit of noise, but inside it’s usually calm enough to focus. We spend most of our time looking at charts and helping people figure out why their vision is blurry. It’s not a huge, gleaming medical center, just a solid place where the work gets done. The waiting room has some old magazines and the chairs are worn from years of use. We see a lot of students from the nearby colleges and workers from the shops around Barkatpura. It’s interesting to see who comes in every day. Sometimes the light in the hallway flickers a bit, but we’re used to it. The focus is always on the eyes, really. We keep the equipment clean and ready for the next person. It’s a small team here, so we all know each other’s names and how we take our tea. Working near the flyover means there’s always something going on outside, but we just keep our heads down and handle the appointments as they come in.
