My daily life involves heading to the office and seeing who’s on the list for the day. I treat a lot of local families who live in the nearby apartments. The space we have is simple—just a waiting room and my consultation area. We keep it clean and tidy, but we don't have any expensive art on the walls or leather sofas. It’s a place for work. I’ve found that most people around here just want a doctor who listens and speaks plainly. I try to be that person. My staff helps keep the appointments in order, though we do get walk-ins that throw the timing off once in a while. That’s just the nature of healthcare in a place like this. The traffic in Kukatpally can be tough, so I appreciate it when patients make the effort to get here on time. I’ve lived in Hyderabad most of my life, so I’m used to the pace. Working here feels right because you’re right in the middle of where people are living their lives. We don't have a mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just help people get through their illnesses and stay healthy. It’s a practical job and I’m happy to be doing it.
