Dr. George Valsan Clinic

We’ve been here at Shashank Menssion for a while now. It’s right in the middle of the market place, just across from the Rajewar Theatre. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets around here. People are always rushing past. Our door is usually open unless the dust from the road gets to be too much. Inside, it’s mostly quiet compared to the street. We have some chairs for people to sit while they wait. The fan keeps things moving even when it's hot outside. Sometimes the movie sounds from across the way drift in during the matinee shows. We see a lot of the same faces from the shops nearby. It's just a regular clinic where we do our work every day. Dr. George is usually in the back room. The walls are a bit plain, maybe they could use some new paint, but they do the job. We keep a ledger on the front desk to keep track of everyone coming in. It's not a fancy place, but it's where we are. Usually, the morning is the busiest time because everyone wants to get their business done before the sun gets too high. We see kids, old folks, and everyone in between. If the theater is letting out, the crowd gets thick, so we just wait for it to clear. That's pretty much how it goes here day after day. We have a small sink in the corner that drips sometimes if you don't turn the handle all the way. It’s those little things you notice when you spend all day in one spot.
