D.J Hari

D.J Hari is based out of Rickab Gung in the Charminar area. Being right in the middle of old Hyderabad means things are always busy around here. We spend a lot of time near N.S.B College Charminar because that is where our main setup is. It isn’t some massive corporate office with glass walls, just a regular place where we keep our speakers, lights, and mixing gear. I started doing this because I liked music, and it just turned into a job over the years. Most days involve testing cables or making sure the amplifiers aren't overheating in the Hyderabad heat. People around here know us because we’ve played at a lot of local functions and small get-togethers in the neighborhood. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is mostly just a few of us making sure the sound is right for whoever calls. Sometimes the traffic near the college makes it hard to move the equipment, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest name in the city, just some local guys who know how to handle a sound system. If you walk past the college and head towards Rickab Gung, you'll probably see us loading or unloading the van. It is honest work and keeps us connected to the community here. We mostly do what people ask for and try to keep things simple without a lot of fuss.
