Dieu Industries Ltd takes up several units from 1-8-304 to 307 along Patigata Road in the Begumpet area. It is a fairly large stretch of space, which is necessary for the kind of work we handle every day. Begumpet is a crowded part of the city, so there is always a lot of movement right outside our gates. Inside, the layout is a bit sprawling, and it can take a minute to walk from one end to the other. We have different sections for various tasks, and the noise of the machinery is a constant background sound. The lighting isn't great in some corners, but we have enough lamps where the actual work happens. There are plenty of heavy benches and storage racks lined up against the walls. We don't have a big corporate lobby with leather chairs; if you come to visit, you will likely be standing in the middle of the workspace while we talk. The staff knows the routine well, and we mostly just get on with our jobs without much talk. Lunch breaks are usually taken in turns so the work doesn't stop completely. We have been on Patigata Road for quite some time, and the building shows its age in places, with some cracks in the plaster and old paint. It is a practical environment built for getting things done rather than looking pretty for visitors. We just focus on the daily output and keeping the machines running.
