Our warehouse is out on Medchal Road in the R.R. District, specifically over in Kompally Village at Survey No 61. It is a bit far out from the main Hyderabad city, so it feels a lot quieter here, at least until the trucks start arriving. Dhl Lemuir Logistics Pvt Ltd has been operating from this spot for a good while. The yard is big and mostly paved, but the edges are still a bit overgrown with grass and weeds. Inside, the ceiling is high and it stays somewhat cool even when the Hyderabad sun is beating down on the roof. We have a small office area tucked into one corner where the computers stay. Most of the day is spent walking back and forth across the concrete floor. The road outside can get pretty clogged with heavy vehicles, especially in the mornings. There is a lot of dust that comes in from the highway, so we are constantly cleaning the desks. We usually bring our own lunch or go to one of the little dhabas further down Medchal Road. It is straightforward work. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just managing the space and the goods that come through. The neighborhood is changing with more buildings going up, but for now, we still have a bit of space around us. It's just a regular logistics yard where we get on with things without much fuss.
