Designer Product

We run things out of Flat No. 106 in a residential building in Chanda Nagar. It’s a bit unusual having a business in an apartment, but it works for what we do. Most of the living room is taken up by desks and samples. We make various products, mostly focused on design work. There are sketches and prototypes scattered around the place. Our neighbors are used to seeing people come and go with boxes now. It’s a quiet building for the most part, so we try not to make too much noise. Sometimes we work late into the night when a project is due. The balcony is where we keep some of the extra materials. It’s not a big factory or a shop floor, just a small space where we get creative. We don't have a sign outside, so you have to know which doorbell to ring. Coffee is always on the stove because we spend a lot of hours sitting at the computers or the assembly table. It is just a few of us trying to make things that look decent. We don't have fancy brochures or a sales team. We just talk to people on the phone or through email and show them what we’ve been working on. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of supplies arriving at once, but we manage to fit it all in somehow.
