Design Story

Design Story is based in Ameerpet, which is always a crowded and busy part of Hyderabad. Our specific address is Addr7-1-212, P. No. 91, and we are right near the Bangalore Iyyenger Bakery. That bakery is actually a great landmark because the smell of fresh bread often reaches our office. We are in the 500016 pin code area. We spend most of our time here working on different design ideas and talking through how to make things look right. The office is a bit tucked away, but once you find the bakery, you are basically there. Ameerpet has a certain energy to it that keeps us moving. We do not really go for the high-end corporate look in our space. It is more about having enough room for our sketches and the computers we use for the design work. Sometimes the street noise is a bit much, but you get used to it after a few weeks. People stop by to discuss their ideas, and we just sit down with a tea and talk it through. It is a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We have been in this part of Hyderabad for a bit now and know the local area well. The building is not new, but it has character. We just keep our heads down and focus on the stories we are trying to tell through design.
