I'm Dayanand and my office is over on Public Garden Road in Abids, right across from the park. I’ve been working out of No. 12/7-4-830 for quite some time. It’s just me and a little bit of help here. We mostly do travel bookings for people who don't want to deal with the websites themselves. A lot of folks around here prefer talking to a person face-to-face. I sit at my desk and we go over the options together. It’s a lot more personal that way. The view of the Public Garden is nice, though the traffic on the road can get pretty loud during the day. I keep the door open most of the time so people can just wander in. It’s an old-school way of doing things, I suppose. I don't have a flashy website or anything like that. I just use the tools I have to find the best routes for train or bus trips. Sometimes the printers jam or the power goes out for a bit, but we get things done eventually. I’ve lived in Hyderabad forever, so I know the layout of the city and the best ways to get out of it for a holiday. People trust me to get their tickets sorted without any hidden fees or nonsense. It’s a small operation, but it keeps me busy and I like being part of the neighborhood. I’ve seen this area change a lot since I first started.
