Raj Cloth Emporium

Raj Cloth Emporium is located at Shop No. 11-6-425 right by the Darga Yousufain X Road in Nampally. If you know the area, it is usually very crowded with people and vehicles. Our shop is right in the middle of all that noise. Inside, we have rolls of fabric stacked from the floor up to the ceiling. There are cottons, synthetics, and some heavier materials for suits. The lights inside are a bit bright because people want to see the exact shade of the cloth before they buy it. We spend a lot of time folding and unfolding things for customers who come in from the Darga side. It gets dusty because of the road outside, so we have to dust the shelves every single morning. The X Road is always busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when three or four people are looking at different bundles at the same time. We have a small stool for people to sit on while they look. Nampally is a fast place, but inside the shop, things move a bit slower while people make up their minds. We do not have a big staff, just a couple of us helping out and cutting the cloth to the right length. It is a simple business and we have been at this spot for a long while now. We try to keep the most popular colors in the front where they are easy to reach.
