Out here in Dammaiguda, specifically in Laxmi Nagar Extension Phase II, you’ll find Balaji Power Products. We’re located at number 15/108. It’s a residential-feeling area that’s been developing pretty fast lately. We deal with all the stuff that keeps your house running when the power goes out, which happens more often than anyone likes. Inverters, batteries, and all those heavy boxes are what we move around every day. The shop is a bit of a maze because these power units take up so much space. We have to be careful moving them so we don’t hurt our backs or drop something expensive. Usually, it’s just a couple of us here. We spend a lot of time on the phone explaining how many hours a backup will last or why a fuse blew during a storm. It’s not glamorous. There’s usually a bit of dust on the floor from the construction nearby and our tea mugs are always half-full on the counter. We don't have a big fancy storefront with glowing signs. People find us because they live nearby or someone told them we have what they need in stock. We try to be helpful, even if we’re in the middle of unboxing a new shipment. It’s just about making sure folks have their fans and lights working when the grid fails. We’ve been at this for a bit now and know most of the local electrical quirks and how the voltage fluctuates around here.
