Dakshin Market Makers

Dakshin Market Makers is based out of Flat No 501 in Garonda Apartments. We are right across from KGR Transport in Ashok Nagar. Being in an apartment building means it’s a bit quieter than a storefront on the main road, but we still have plenty to do. Our space is basically a converted flat. We have a couple of rooms set up with computers and shelves full of files. It’s a bit of a tight fit when all of us are in at the same time, especially around the small kitchen area where we keep the kettle. Most of our work involves market research and data, so there’s a lot of staring at screens and talking on the phone. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, and we have to walk up to the fifth floor, which is a good workout if nothing else. We aren't a big agency with a fancy lobby or marble floors. We’re just a small group of people trying to make sense of the market. We don't have a formal dress code, so you'll usually see us in jeans and shirts. The balcony gives us a decent view of the street below, which is nice when you need a five-minute break from the monitor. We usually finish up around six, unless there is a deadline that keeps us late into the night. It’s a simple, hardworking life here in Ashok Nagar, and it suits us just fine. We just tidy up the desks and leave.
