We’ve been over here in A S Rao Nagar for a good while now. Our spot is in Aiswarya Chambers, right next to Poulomi Hospital on the main road. If you’re driving by, you probably see us working on something or other out front. It gets pretty busy around here with all the traffic heading towards the hospital. We started out just doing small bits and pieces, mostly just because we liked making things look right. Most days, the shop is full of scraps and half-finished projects. It’s not the cleanest place, but we know where everything is. Sometimes people just walk in off the main road to ask questions while we’re in the middle of a job. We don’t mind. It’s mostly just a few of us here. We handle the machines and try to get things done when we said we would. Sometimes we’re running a bit behind if a machine acts up, but that’s just how it goes in this kind of work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we moved into the chambers. It’s a lot louder now than it used to be. We just keep our heads down and focus on what’s on the table. There isn’t much fancy about the way we run things. We just open up in the morning, drink some tea, and get to work on whatever orders came in the day before. It’s a steady life and we’re used to the noise from the main road by now.
