D Q Entertainment Ltd. is located in Flat G1 of the Maheshwari Residency. It’s a ground-floor spot, which is great because we don’t have to worry about elevators or stairs when we’re carrying equipment in and out. The residency is a fairly standard building, nothing too flashy, but it’s a good home for us. Inside the flat, we’ve converted the rooms into workspaces for our projects. Since we are in the entertainment business, things can get a bit messy with cables and different machines everywhere. There isn't much of a lobby; you pretty much just walk right into where the action is happening. We usually have music playing or some video being edited, so it’s rarely quiet. The lighting isn't great because we keep the curtains closed to avoid glare on the monitors. It’s just the way we like to work. We’ve been in this space for a while and everyone has their own little corner where they do their thing. We don’t have a receptionist, so if someone knocks, whoever is closest to the door just lets them in. It’s a very informal way of doing things, but it suits our style. We’re more interested in finishing our projects than having a perfectly organized office. It feels like a real workspace where things actually happen every day and we enjoy that.
