You can find us on the 6th floor of the Navketan Building, in suites 602 and 603. We are right opposite the Clock Tower on S D Road. That’s a very famous landmark, so people rarely get lost trying to find Container Corp Of India Ltd. Being in the heart of the city means there is always something going on outside. The Clock Tower is a nice thing to see when we step out for a break. Our office is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We handle a lot of the administrative side of container movements and rail freight from here. It is a lot of coordination between different departments and the yards. The Navketan Building has been around for a long time, and we have been here for a good chunk of that. The elevators can be a bit temperamental, and the hallways are usually busy with people from other offices. We are just a group of people doing our jobs, making sure the containers are where they need to be. There is nothing very corporate or polished about our day-to-day. It’s a lot of phone calls, checking schedules, and making sure the paperwork is in order. S D Road is a great place to be because everything is close by, but the traffic can be a nightmare during rush hour. We just take it as it comes and try to keep things moving as best as we can from our 6th-floor spot.
