Nasr Chambers is where you will find us, right in the middle of the bustle on Mubarak Bazar Lane. We are directly across from Hollywood Footwear, which is a landmark everyone in Abids knows. If you get lost, you just look for that shoe store and we are right there at 5-8-595/A/2. The shop has been here through many seasons. It’s a narrow lane, and sometimes the delivery trucks make it hard to walk, but that’s just how this part of town is. We mainly deal with watches and timepieces. The sound of all the different clocks ticking at once is something you get used to after a week. It becomes like background noise. We spend a lot of hours sitting at the tall stools behind the counter. The glass on the display cases gets fingerprints on it constantly, so someone is always wiping them down. People come in looking for a new strap or a battery that actually lasts. It is a bit cramped when more than three people come in at once, but we make it work. The lighting is a bit yellow, giving everything an older feel. We aren't trying to be anything other than a local watch shop. Abids is a fast place, but inside here, things feel a little slower. We just keep track of the minutes and wait for the next customer to walk through the door.
