Chowdhry Motors

You can find Chowdhry Motors right near the Farse Hotel on Ac Guard Road in Bazarghat. It is a very lively part of the city and there is always something going on outside our doors. We’ve been fixing cars and motors here for a long time and the shop has the layers of paint and oil to prove it. It’s a bit cramped inside because we have so many parts and tools scattered around but we know where everything is. Usually we are busy with local taxis or private cars that need a quick fix or a major overhaul. We don't have a big fancy sign just the name and the work we do. Bazarghat is the kind of place where everyone knows everyone and we like that. People drop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about a noise their car is making. We don't charge for advice and we don't try to sell people stuff they don't need. The floor is usually a bit slippery so you have to watch your step when you come in. We don't have a computer system for everything so we still write a lot of things down in a big ledger on the desk. It’s an old-school way of doing things but it has worked for us so far. We just show up every day and do our best with the cars that come in. It's a simple life.
