Our workshop is at Plot No 27 in Phase IV of Ida Cherlapally. It’s a quiet corner of the industrial area, which is good because the work we do with electronics requires a bit of focus. We deal with a lot of small parts and wires, so the benches are usually covered in soldering irons and testing equipment. It’s not a big, flashy factory. It’s more of a place where a few of us sit and work on boards all day. We’ve been in Cherlapally for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the area grow up around us. The air conditioning in the small office is old and makes a rattling noise, but it keeps the heat off when the sun is beating down on the roof. We get a lot of regulars coming in with parts that need fixing or asking us to put something together for them. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just take the components, put them where they belong, and make sure they work. Sometimes we stay late when a job is tricky, but usually, we wrap up around six. It’s a decent living and we like the people in Phase IV. We just do our thing at Plot 27 and try to stay out of the way of the bigger companies.
