Eagle Rubber Industries

You can find us at B-1 in the Industrial Estate over at Chandulal Baradari. We’re on Road Number 2 in Hyderabad. It’s an older industrial area, and our building has been here for a good while. Inside, it always smells like rubber, which I guess is expected. A few big machines take up most of the space. It’s a bit of a maze with all the molds and raw rubber sheets stacked up near the entrance. The light isn't always the best, but we know where everything is. We don’t do much talking while the machines are humming away, but we take our breaks together near the front door to catch some fresh air. Traffic on Road Number 2 can get a bit stuck in the afternoons, so we try to get our deliveries out early. It’s a straightforward operation. We get the material, set the machines, and watch over the process. There’s no big corporate structure here, just a few of us making sure the quality is what it needs to be. Most of us have lived in Hyderabad our whole lives, so we’re used to the heat and the way things work around here. It’s a steady job and we take it one day at a time, making parts that people need. The days are often long but we always get it done before heading home.
