New Opticals

New Opticals is located at Shop No: 20 in New Maruthi Nagar. We are right in Chaitanyapuri, directly opposite the Hanuman Temple on the old lane. It’s a good spot because the temple is a landmark everyone knows. If you get lost, just ask someone for the Hanuman temple on Kalbadevi Road and you’ll find us. The shop is small but we have enough frames to fill the walls. We've been here for a long time. It’s mostly just us fixing glasses and helping people see a bit better. We aren't a big chain with white coats and loud music. It’s just a quiet place where you can come in and try on a few pairs of spectacles without someone hovering over you. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood come in because they broke their frames playing, and we do our best to fix them up cheap. The street can be quite loud during festival times because of the temple, but we don't mind. It brings life to the lane. We do our own lens grinding in the back. It’s a bit of an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works for us. We don't spend money on fancy displays. We just have the glass cases and some stools for you to sit on. If you need your eyes checked or just a new pair of shades, we're usually here until late evening. Most people around here know us well.
