Our office is on the 4th floor of Downtown-The Mall in Lakdikapul. It’s a big building, and we are in units 7 and 8. Being right next to Lotus Children Hospital makes it easy for people to find the mall. The elevator can be slow during lunch hours, so we often end up waiting around with the other office workers. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks and people staring at screens. We do a lot of tech work, so there are always cables everywhere and the hum of servers in the back. It’s not the most exciting place to look at, but we get our stuff done. Lakdi Ka Pool is always crowded with traffic, so the view from the window is mostly just cars and bikes jammed together. We spend our time on software issues and technical support. It gets pretty busy, especially when a big project is due. Sometimes we order food from the places downstairs when we’re working late. It’s a typical city office life. We’ve got a small kitchen area where we grab coffee and complain about the traffic. The mall has a few other businesses, but it mostly feels like a quiet professional space during the day. We’ve been here in this Khairatabad area for a while and have seen the mall change over the years. It’s a solid place to work even if the parking is a bit of a headache. We just try to keep things moving and help our clients whenever they call with technical questions.
