Cal-On Industries Ltd is located out in Phase-Iv of the Ida area. Being right opposite the Cherlapally Railway Station is actually pretty handy for us. You can hear the trains coming and going all day, which sort of sets the rhythm for our work. It’s an industrial neighborhood, so it’s dusty and there’s always some kind of noise from the nearby factories. We’ve been operating out of Cherlapally for a good bit now. Most of what we do involves the day-to-day grind of industrial production and managing the warehouse floor. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits; it’s more about boots and work shirts. We spend a lot of time checking on the machinery and making sure the shipments are ready to go out on time. The heat in the summers can get pretty intense in these industrial sheds, but we’ve gotten used to it. We have a small office space carved out where we handle the billing and the logs. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We don’t have any big signs or flashy displays. Most people who come here are truck drivers or suppliers who know exactly where we are. We try to keep things organized, but in a place this big, there’s always something that needs fixing or moving. It’s just how things go in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and get the manufacturing done.
