If you ever find yourself on Dr As Rao Nagar Road, you might see Bhavani Pooja Stores. We are located at 2-36-95 in Swamik Nagar. It’s a nice little corner of the world to be in. We deal with all the things people need for their daily rituals and ceremonies. The shop isn't very large, but we try to keep it stocked with the essentials. It smells like incense and old paper in here most of the time. We aren’t a big supermarket or anything; it’s more of a local store where we know a lot of the people who walk in. Swamik Nagar is a quiet place compared to the main city, which we appreciate. Our days usually start with sweeping the front and setting things out. There’s no fancy strategy behind what we do. We just look at what people are asking for and try to have it ready for them the next time they come by. It’s a very hands-on kind of job. Sometimes the shelves get a bit disorganized when it’s busy, but we fix it when things calm down. We don’t have any corporate goals or mission statements pinned to the wall. We just have a calendar and a notebook. At Bhavani Pooja Stores, we just want to keep the doors open and be here for the neighborhood. It’s what we’ve done for a while now and we like it.
