Our facility is out in Genome Valley, located in Turkapally village within the Shamirpet Mandal. It is a bit of a long drive from the center of the city, but it is much quieter out here, which works well for the type of research we do. We have several labs and production areas where we work on vaccines and other biotech products. There are always a lot of scientists and technicians walking around the halls in their lab coats. The security at the gate is fairly strict because of the materials we handle, so visitors cannot just wander in without an appointment. Inside the building, everything is kept very clean and organized, which is a big contrast to the dusty roads and fields outside. We spend many hours every day looking at samples and waiting for test results. It is not the kind of work where you see the final product quickly. It takes a lot of patience and repetition. Sometimes the lab lights stay on late into the night if someone is in the middle of a long experiment. We have a small cafeteria where the staff gathers for tea breaks and talks about regular things to clear their heads. The landscape around this part of Rangareddy is actually quite nice if you take a moment to look out the window. We have been here for a long time, and we have seen the whole area grow up around us.
