Bhala Handlooms Private Limited

Our place is on James Street, right on M.G. Road in Secunderabad. The address is H No 2-2-150/B. If you know that area, you know it is always loud and crowded with people moving everywhere. Bhala Handlooms is tucked into one of these buildings. It is a busy spot. We have stacks of handloom fabrics that reach almost to the ceiling sometimes. It is a bit dusty because of the old building and all the traffic outside, but that is just how it is on M.G. Road. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and moving things around to make space for the day’s work. The lighting inside isn't the greatest, so we use a lot of desk lamps to see the details on the cloth. It is a straightforward business. We don't have any big corporate offices or anything. It is just a few rooms filled with textiles and some old wooden desks where we do the paperwork. The phone rings a lot, mostly people asking about specific patterns or delivery times. Sometimes we have to shout a bit to be heard over the noise of the buses outside. It feels very much like a part of the old city here. We have worked out of this spot for a long time and have seen the street change quite a bit, but our routine stays mostly the same.
