Bhagyalatha Hospital Eye Unit

Bhagyalatha Hospital Eye Unit is situated at Gate 2 of the main hospital building. We are right in the middle of Bhagyalatha Colony, on Shivalayam Temple Road. It’s a very recognizable spot in Vanasthalipuram, especially since we’re so close to the Bhagyalatha Bus Stop. Being near the Hayathnagar area, there’s always people coming and going. The Eye Unit is its own little world within the hospital. We have our own entrance at Gate 2, which makes it easier for people who are just coming to see us. The sounds from the Shivalayam Temple are part of our daily life here. We hear the bells in the morning and evening, which is quite nice. The unit itself is pretty simple. We have the testing equipment set up in rooms that we keep a bit dim for the eye exams. The waiting area has some rows of chairs and a few posters on the walls. It’s not a high-end boutique; it’s a medical unit. We spend a lot of time cleaning the lenses and making sure the chairs are wiped down. Most of our staff have been here for years, so we know each other's ways. We see people of all ages, from kids getting their first glasses to older folks who have been coming to us for decades. It’s a busy place, but we try to keep things moving steadily. We’re just a regular part of the neighborhood, doing our bit for the community's eyesight.
