Rak Ceramics

Rak Ceramics is situated in Begumpet, specifically at No. 1-11-251/19/ A2. We are on the first floor, right opposite TMC in Motilal Nehru Nagar. It’s a busy spot, and finding a place to park can be a bit of a nightmare some days. Our space is mostly taken up by boxes and displays of different ceramic tiles. We’ve got everything from basic floor tiles to some of the more decorative stuff people like for kitchens or bathrooms. Since we are on the first floor, we have to be really organized about how we move the stock in and out. It’s a lot of lifting and carrying, which keeps us in shape, I guess. The office part of the shop is just a small corner where we keep the books and handle the bills. Begumpet is always loud with the sounds of the city, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend our time talking to people about their renovation plans and trying to figure out how many boxes they’re going to need for their square footage. Sometimes we get the measurements wrong and have to fix it, but that’s just how it goes in this trade. We don’t have a big fancy staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. It’s a straightforward business and we just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss. Most days are just about managing the tiles and the customers.
