We are mostly focused on renewable energy systems, which involves a lot of reading, planning, and looking at technical charts. The office is located on the ground floor, so it is easy to walk right in without waiting for an elevator. It is definitely not a shiny showroom or a corporate tower. It is just a place where we have our desks, some technical drawings, and our coffee mugs scattered around. We have been thinking about solar power and other energy sources for a long time now. It is interesting work, even if it gets a bit technical and complicated sometimes. We are not a huge corporation with a thousand employees. It is just a small handful of us who care about how energy is used in buildings and homes. We talk to people about their current setups and see what might work a bit better for them. Sometimes we are out on a site visit, and other times we are just sitting here in G4 crunching numbers. The apartment building is generally quiet, which helps when we need to concentrate on a difficult design or a long report. We do not have any fancy signs.
