We are located in Banjara Hills, which sounds fancy, but our office at Jyoti Square is pretty straightforward. You have to find Road No. 3 and then look for the building. We’re on the 3rd floor, unit 3D. The stairs are a bit steep if the lift isn’t working, which happens once in a while. Inside, D-661 - Preeti Agencies is just a typical Hyderabad office. We’ve got shelves full of ledgers and samples. It’s a bit of a maze with all the boxes we have tucked into corners. The windows look out onto the street, so we watch the traffic pile up every evening. It’s a good spot because we are central, but the noise of the horns never really stops. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown it out. Most of us have worked together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the day started. We have our tea brought in from the shop downstairs twice a day. It’s a practical workspace, not a showroom. We deal with a lot of paperwork and phone calls from suppliers. Sometimes customers drop by, and we have to clear off a chair for them to sit. It’s just a busy, slightly messy place where we handle our business as best as we can. We like being in this part of town despite the bustle.
