You can find Purvi Glass Plywood Centre at No. 7-1-227 in Balkampet. We are right beside Chapul Fresh. It’s a busy spot and we have been here for quite some time. We deal with heavy sheets of plywood and all sorts of glass. Our shop is usually covered in a bit of sawdust because we cut things to size for people. It’s a noisy place with the saws running. We have stacks of wood leaning against the walls. You have to be careful where you walk so you don't trip over a stray piece of timber. We aren't a big corporation. We are just a local center for building materials. People from around Balkampet come to us when they are fixing up their kitchens or building a new cupboard. We help them load the heavy stuff into their trucks. My clothes usually have some wood glue or dust on them by the end of the day. It’s honest work. We don't have a fancy showroom. Everything is right there in the open where you can see it. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the road for a minute while we unload, but the neighbors are used to it. We just focus on getting the glass and wood out to the customers. It’s a straightforward business. We know our materials and we know the area well. It is a lot of lifting and carrying, but that is the nature of the plywood business here.
