Suryajyoti Polymer Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No 47 2A 3A in the C I E Gandhi Nagar area of Balanagar. It is a pretty old industrial estate, so the roads are a bit narrow and there is always something going on nearby. Our building is a simple structure that houses our polymer work. We have been here for a good amount of time now. The smell of plastic is something you just get used to after working here for a few days. We have a small team of people who handle the machines and the loading. It is mostly local guys from around Balanagar who show up every morning. We don’t have any polished reception area or big signs. Most people find us just by the plot number and the noise of the production line. The day usually starts with a bit of a struggle to find parking on the street. Once we get inside, it’s all about keeping the machines running without too many hitches. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them, which is just part of the job. We don’t spend much on advertising because we prefer to just focus on the orders we already have. It is a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We keep the doors open for some air and try to get through the daily list of tasks as best as we can.
