New Star Refrigeration Engg Works

New Star Refrigeration Engg Works is located on Old Airport Road in the Goutham Nagar area. It is a busy street with lots of trucks passing by. Our shop is at 7-5-129, and you can usually tell which one it is because of the old fridge units sitting outside. We spend the whole day covered in grease and looking at copper pipes. It is hot work, especially in the summer when everyone's cooling systems start breaking down at the same time. The shop is full of spare parts, motors, and toolboxes that we have gathered over the years. It is not the cleanest place in the world, but we know where everything is. Usually, we are out on calls for most of the day, so the shop is run by whoever is left behind to mind the phone. We fix all sorts of stuff, from small home fridges to bigger cooling units for shops. Sometimes the parts we need take a few days to arrive, and we have to tell the customers to wait, which they never like. But that is the nature of repair work. We drink tea from the stall down the road about three times a day. It keeps us going when the work gets frustrating. We’ve been in Balanagar for quite a while now and most people around here know us by name.
