Maya Interiors is tucked away at 5-15 in the T.I.E section of Balanagar. Hyderabad is a big, fast city, but our little corner in Balanagar feels a bit more like an old-school workshop area. We have stacks of wood samples, fabric swatches, and cans of polish scattered all over the place. It’s a bit of a mess, honestly, but it’s a creative mess. You’ll usually find someone measuring something or arguing over a blueprint. The floor is always covered in a fine layer of sawdust, no matter how much we sweep. We don't have a fancy storefront with big glass windows. Instead, people find us by word of mouth or by wandering through the industrial estate. The T.I.E. area has a lot of character, and we’ve been part of it for a while now. Some days are spent entirely on site, but when we’re here, it’s all about the details of the projects we have going on. We have an old kettle for making tea, and that’s where most of our planning happens. It’s not a corporate office with suits and ties; it’s more about rolled-up sleeves and getting our hands dirty. We just take one project at a time and spend a lot of time double-checking our measurements so we don't waste any wood. We don't have a big sales team, just ourselves and our tools in this busy workshop.
