Maa Kali Industries

Maa Kali Industries is a small place located at Plot No 48/B in S V C I E, Balanagar. We have been in this part of Balanagar for several years now. It is a tight squeeze in this industrial estate, and our plot isn't the biggest, but we make it work with what we have. Most of the work is manual and can be quite tiring on the back. We have the name of the goddess on our sign to keep us going. Every morning we start by cleaning the main work area because it gets greasy from the machines overnight. We aren't a high-tech facility with robots or anything like that. It is just me, a couple of workers, and some older machinery that requires a lot of oil and patience. We do our work, talk about the cricket scores, and try to get out before the Balanagar traffic gets too crazy in the evening. There isn't much of a lobby here, just a small stool where people sit if they are waiting for a pick-up. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or advertisements. Most people find us because they know someone else who gets their work done here. It is a local business through and through. We deal with the daily struggles of running a shop, like the water supply being erratic or the rain leaking through the roof, but we just patch it up and keep on going.
