Down in Balanagar, specifically at Plotno 46 in the S V C I E, you’ll find us at Hyderabad Dies And Moulds. The place is full of heavy metal and the sound of machines cutting steel. It’s a loud environment, so we’ve gotten used to talking over the noise. Our hands are usually covered in a bit of grease or metal dust by the end of the shift. We’ve been at this location for quite some time now. The floor is concrete and stained from years of work. We don't have a lobby with magazines or anything like that. People come here because they need something specific made out of metal. We spend a lot of time leaning over blueprints or measuring parts down to the smallest bit. It’s precise work even if the surroundings look a bit rough. The guys here have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to understand what needs to be done. We keep our tools on big pegboards, though things don't always end up back in their exact spots during a busy day. At Plotno 46, we just focus on the task at hand. When the machines are off, it gets surprisingly quiet, and we can finally hear the birds outside before we lock up the gate and head home to Balanagar. The tea shop around the corner is where we usually end up after work.
