BALAJI ENTERPRISES

It is quite busy here in Begumpet, and we have been at this same spot for a while now. Balaji Enterprises is mostly just us doing our thing every single day without much fuss. Most of our mornings start with cleaning up the thick dust from the road and checking what needs to be moved around the floor. It is a lot of manual work and we don't use any fancy equipment. People stop by all the time, some just to ask for directions or the time, and we really don't mind the interruptions. Hyderabad gets very hot in the afternoons so things usually slow down a bit during those hours. We deal with whatever work comes our way, mostly just keeping the inventory sorted and making sure the gate is open on time for everyone. It is not a fancy office with big chairs or anything like that. Just a shop floor and some old desks in the back where we keep the papers and the tea cups. Sometimes the electricity goes out for hours and we just sit outside on the plastic stools for a bit. We know most of the guys in the shops next door. We have seen this neighborhood change quite a bit over the last few years. New buildings are coming up and the traffic is getting much worse. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. It is a steady routine for us.
