Our place is located in Bajaj Niwas, which is over in the Badi Chawdi area of Sultan Bazar. It is quite a central part of Hyderabad, so things are always moving fast outside our door. The address is 4-5-520, and it’s one of those spots where you can feel the history of the market all around you. Sultan Bazar-Koti is known for being packed with shoppers and vendors, and our building sits right in the thick of it. Most of our day is spent inside handling whatever comes across the desk. It can get pretty noisy with the traffic and people shouting outside, but you get used to it after a week or so. The office itself is simple, nothing too modern or flashy about it. We have the usual furniture and plenty of papers that need organizing. Getting here can be a bit tricky if you are driving a car because the lanes are narrow and usually full of two-wheelers. Most of us just take the bus or ride a bike. There are plenty of small places nearby to grab a quick snack or a chai during the break. It is a busy atmosphere that keeps us on our toes. We don’t really go in for big decorations. It’s just a workspace where we try to keep up with the daily tasks that need doing. It’s been our base for quite a while now.
