Out here in Azampura, life moves at its own pace, especially at our spot at 16-7-423/1. Abans Agro Farms isn’t some massive industrial operation you’d see on the news; it’s more of a local effort where we focus on the agro side of things. Hyderabad gets really hot in the summer, and that definitely changes how we handle our daily work. We spend a lot of time checking on supplies and talking to the people who actually grow things. The building we’re in is pretty standard for this part of town, nothing too flashy on the outside. We’ve got some neighbors who have been here as long as we have, so there is a nice sense of community in the street. Some days are just spent on the phone or looking at ledgers, while other days we are moving stuff around and getting ready for the next season. It’s hard work and your hands get dirty, but that is the nature of farming and agro business. We don't really do the whole corporate meeting thing. Instead, we usually just sit around with a cup of chai and figure out what needs to be done before the sun goes down. It is a bit cramped sometimes with all the stuff we have to store, but we make it work. Most people who stop by are just looking for practical help with their land or their crops.
