Avis Labs

Avis Labs is right here at 1-46/4/C1/9 in Sankar Nagar. If you know Chanda Nagar well, you’ve probably walked past our place many times without thinking much of it. It’s not a very big building, just a standard setup where we keep our equipment and do our daily work. Most mornings start early before the sun gets too hot. We spend a lot of time looking at samples and keeping the place clean. There is always a lot of washing up to do with the glass jars and tubes we use. The street outside can get pretty loud with all the bikes and people going to work, but inside it stays mostly quiet. We have been in this spot for a while now. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy with the actual lab work to worry about how the place looks to outsiders. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we have to sit and wait for it to come back. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby. There’s just a desk where we keep the notebooks and the phone. It’s a simple life here in Chanda Nagar. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things that need testing every single day until it's time to lock up and head home to our families. It is mostly about the routine here, making sure every sample is handled right and the paperwork is tucked away in the metal cabinets before the day ends.
