People usually find us by looking for the Tirumala Function Hall in Uppal. We are right across from it at house number 9-21 in Hanuman Nagar. It is a busy part of the neighborhood, especially on weekends when there are weddings or big parties at the hall. You can hear the music sometimes from our front door. The clinic has been here for a good while, serving the people who live nearby. It is not a very large space, just enough for what we need to do. We keep some chairs out for people to wait. Often, it’s the same faces coming in, neighbors from down the street or families who have lived in Uppal for decades. The street outside can get quite dusty and loud with the traffic, but inside it stays relatively calm. We start early in the day, cleaning up and getting things ready before the first person arrives. It is just a regular local spot. Nothing here is meant to look like those big, shiny hospitals in the city center. We prefer it this way because it feels more like a part of the community. Sometimes people just stop by to say hello or ask for directions because they are lost looking for the function hall. We don't mind. We just go about our work, day in and day out, making sure we are here when someone needs us. It is a simple life and a simple clinic for the folks in Hanuman Nagar.
