Ats Textiles is over at 10-3-653/18 in Vijayanagar Colony, Hyderabad. This part of the city is always full of life and we fit right in with the local vibe. We handle different kinds of fabrics and textiles and our shop is usually piled high with rolls of cloth. It’s not the biggest space in the world, so things can get a bit tight when a new shipment arrives. We spend a lot of our time measuring out material and talking to the people who stop by. Vijayanagar Colony has a lot of history and we like being part of that. The address is easy enough to find once you know the area. We don’t go for any of those modern marketing tricks. We just show the fabric and let people see it for themselves. The lights in the shop aren't the brightest but they work well enough for us to see what we are doing. Some days are slower than others and we just sit and watch the traffic go by on the street. It’s a family-style environment here. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the day’s work. Hyderabad is a big place but our little corner in the colony feels like its own small world. We just keep doing what we know how to do. We have been here for years and the locals know us by name.
