Atomic Motorsports

We are located at Number 3 in Banjara Hills. People usually expect something a bit different when they hear that address, but our shop is mostly full of grease and the smell of old engine oil. We work on cars, mostly the ones that people want to make go faster or handle better on the road. It gets pretty loud in here. There is always someone revving up a modified engine or hitting a stubborn piece of metal with a heavy hammer. We have got floor jacks scattered all over the place and shelves that are stacked high with tires and spare rims. It is a bit cramped to be honest, but we make it work. We have been in this spot for a while now, and the neighborhood has changed around us, but we stay pretty much the same. You will see us out front covered in dirt and oil more often than not. We deal with engines, suspension bits, and gearboxes all day. Sometimes a car has to stay on the lift for over a week because we are waiting for a specific part to arrive. We don't really have a fancy waiting room or anything. People just drop their vehicles off and come back once we give them a call. The light in the back of the shop isn't great, so we use those portable lamps a lot to see what we are doing under the hood. It is hard work on the back, crawling under those chassis all day long. But we like the sound of a well-tuned engine. It is just a small team of us trying to get through the list of repairs before the weekend.
