Our place is located at 4 126/2A in Athvelly, which is part of the Medchal area. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but there is plenty of space for the panels we keep on site. The sun beats down on the roof of the shed all day, which feels right given the kind of work we are doing with solar energy. We spend a lot of time out in the yard checking the equipment and making sure nothing got cracked during the transport. It is mostly physical labor, moving the heavy frames and setting up the glass parts so they don't catch too much dust. We have a small crew and we all know each other well. Sometimes the power goes out in the neighborhood, and it reminds us why we are putting these systems together for people. The office is just a corner of the main building with a couple of filing cabinets and a map of the local area pinned to the wall. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations or a lobby for people to sit in. Usually, if someone comes by, we just talk to them outside or by the loading dock. The days are long and we usually end up with grease or dirt on our shirts by the time we head home to our families. It is a quiet spot most of the time, and we just keep moving through the work list.
