We run Aswini Engineering Works out of our place in Vinayak Nagar, over in the SPR Hills area of Yousufguda. It’s a partnership between family members, Errolu Anil and Errolu Marutha. Anil handles about ninety percent of the load while Marutha takes care of the other ten percent. Most of what we do involves general engineering and fabrication. If someone needs metal parts welded or shaped, they usually come find us at H No 8-3-228/689/1009/62. The address is a bit of a mouthful, but we've been in this part of Hyderabad for quite a while now. Our workshop isn't very large, but we have the tools needed to get the fabrication jobs done. It can get pretty loud when the grinding starts, and the neighbors probably aren't always happy about that, but we try to keep it within reasonable hours. Anil handles most of the technical stuff while the rest of us help out where needed. We don't have a website or anything like that; we mostly just rely on people in the district knowing where we are. It’s a lot of manual labor, and the Hyderabad heat doesn't make it any easier during the day. We just take one job at a time and try to get the metalwork finished correctly. It’s just a small local shop trying to stay busy with whatever engineering tasks come our way.
